New PPP Forgiveness Factsheet For Borrower Audience

A PPP factsheet for borrowers that provides a high-level overview of what they have to do as part of the PPP Forgiveness process has been developed for SBA field offices and SBA Resource Partners.

The basic premise is that the borrowers in all cases should work with their PPP lenders on forgiveness.

Below is the link to the document.

SBA Announces Simpler PPP Forgiveness Application

The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the Treasury Department, released a simpler loan forgiveness application for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans of $50,000 or less. This action streamlines the PPP forgiveness process to provide financial and administrative relief to America’s smallest businesses while also ensuring sound stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
SBA and Treasury have also eased the burden on PPP lenders, allowing lenders to process forgiveness applications more swiftly. SBA began approving PPP forgiveness applications and remitting forgiveness payments to PPP lenders for PPP borrowers on October 2, 2020. SBA will continue to process all PPP forgiveness applications in an expeditious manner.

The COVID-19 Story Project

The COVID-19 Story Project is inspired by “The Decameron”, a collection of stories set during the Black Plague of 1348. Published in 1353, the stories are told by ten men and women who self-isolate (true story) and pass the time in quarantine by telling stories.

Bridge View Media is collecting stories during this outbreak. You can read selected stories and/or share your own story!
