WBEC-East began in 1995 as a Women’s Business Center supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Since then, we’ve been working with small business owners to support women starting and growing their businesses. For the past two decades, we’ve been helping women achieve economic empowerment through entrepreneurship. While the Center is dedicated to the economic empowerment of women, the services are open to all individuals.
Our entrepreneurial training takes several forms:
In-person business education and training workshops (see specific programs: JumpStart, FastTrac, and Orientation and Business Assessment)
Online classes led by qualified instructors in a variety of topics, from software training to management classes. Courses start once a month and run for six weeks. Learn more here.
One-on-one business counseling . Request individualized assistance.
