A Syrian company, operating out of Dubai, is involved in rebuilding and opening hospitals in Syria, in conjunction with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS). The company expects SAMS to rebuild or renovate around 10-15 hospitals; other NGOs will also do projects so they want to be prepared for future requirements.

Fulton Bank Announces Early-Stage Financing Program in Partnership with the Enterprise Center
$250,000 grant from Fulton Forward Foundation will support funding for entrepreneurs.
The grant will provide early-stage funding to entrepreneurs with limited financing options. Investment grants of $10,000 will be made to each business approved, along with advisory services from The Enterprise Center. Diverse Business Banking Advocates receive special training to enable them to support the growth and success of diverse business owners.

NJ Cool Program
Applications Accepted on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
The NJ Cool program is a $15 million pilot program launched by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) to provide financial assistance to commercial building owners and tenants undertaking retrofit construction projects that reduce operating greenhouse gas emissions from existing commercial buildings in Newark, Edison, and Atlantic City. The NJEDA will provide grant awards ranging from $50,000 to $1 million to reimburse applicants for eligible hard construction costs from projects that upgrade building heating and cooling systems to less polluting alternatives, as well as implement other energy efficiency measures or on-site renewables.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania welcomes all small business entities that meet Department of General Services (DGS) criteria to consider this upcoming new opportunity in construction management. Participation is not restricted to businesses incorporated or residing in Pennsylvania. Specifically, DGS Capital Programs has issued a Small Business Reserve Invitation to Qualify solicitation to pre-qualify for the future procurement of “Construction Management Services”.
